Generic brings us these San Francisco neighborhood signs.
La Lengua’s is too obvious to show.
But I admit I’m having trouble with my pinky on the one for the Mission – I guess that’s because I wasn’t born here. But I shall persevere (especially since there’s not one for Bernal).

But the best one is the SF Giants logo, which people always doubt you can pull off with one hand. It’s pretty impossible to describe, but quite cool. Not Brian Wilson-orange shoes cool, but you know…
Lengua is too obvious. I almost nixed Inner/Outer Sunsets for the same reason.
It helps to think of the Mission as a reverse Spock.
I can do the spock thing no prob. Guess I can only hang on Valencia.
Did you make it? Brock doesn’t think so. (Which makes the SoMa comment all the more appropriate.)

Yeah, it is strange. But I think using Walt Mossberg as your homey really threw people off.
