I cannot swear profanely or long enough to express my gratitude for your website/tribute to my favorite city. The island map alone was worth the price of entry. ?? To express my gratitude I am donating 10000 electrons to assist in it’s continuance!

3D Lovesong to the Mission, celebrating ‘Day of the Dead’ with an exhibit called ‘Mission of the Dead.’ The show is currently at Mission Comics and Art on 20th and Mission. It closes on November 27. Stop by. Put on a pair of 3D glasses. See the Mission in a brand new light.

I cannot tell you how happy and impressed I am with your site! I do not live in the city, in fact I live in the central valley, but you have made the cold, grey city become more approachable in my mind.

I am an infographic freak, so your use of them is enjoyed, as your your use of vintage maps and photos.

I am a recently retired teacher (early retirement) and am trained/experienced in all the social sciences, particularly sociology, US history, and economics.

    Glad to have found you!

Great site – found you looking for information on the Mission Reds. Trying to picture what life in the city was like fort he ballplayers of the early 30s. Any suggestions? Thanks!
