Further experiments in living room astronomy.
Out my window with the Lumix, full on 10x zoom with my Oakleys in front of the lens to cut the glare. (ISO 1600 and shutter speed of 1/200th if you are for some mysterious reason interested.)

Isn’t it amazing how much detail the wee cameras can pick up on. My first moon shot with the TZ5 was a halfmoon and I was very pleased at the sharp picture it captured. http://halfpintpixie.com/2009/02/02/imbolc-moon/
