Food Fight — American Military History

December 16, 2008

“Food Fight is an abridged history of American-centric war, from World War II to present day, told through the foods of the countries in conflict. Watch as traditional comestibles slug it out for world domination in this chronologically re-enacted smorgasbord of aggression.”

Brilliant, surprisingly intense.

Watch it once, then click past the fold:

There are some surprising subtleties — check out the cliff notes and cheat sheet, then watch it again.  It took the guy 3 months to make, and he and his dog ate everything he used. I am glad no burritos were harmed.
