Come Fly With Me – Timelapse at 30,000 Feet
April 8, 2009
Best part of Las Vegas is, well, flying there.
SFO-LAS, 9 April, about 11:30 AM.
Snow covered range just east of Bishop, CA, near the CA-NV state line. Not sure of the name of the range — Intermountain West? If so, White Mountain Peak seems the tallest of the bunch.
6 x 8-way QuadCamera shots stitched together using GIFfun. 3-5 seconds between shot.
(Oh, and Apple is now refusing to let the developer upgrade QuadCamera. Thanks for nothing, Apple iPhone app approval people. I use this every day. What is your issue with cool photographic apps?)

ok, dude, you have discovered something sorta cool, but don’t go overboard. I love your site so take the dial it back comment with that in mind.
Noted. Don’t worry, I promise not post the time lapse of my $7 United turkey sandwich (on either end).
Think of these as practice for the next time I fly down from Seattle or Vancouver and I get the approach from Marin over the bridge, the city and the Mission in low-rez mastery.
My “please, not” list: Graffiti, sausage or sex being made. No birthing or other bodily functions. My “please let’s” list: midnight trash scavengers in action, a mash up of anything from sfgov TV and a Wagner soundtrack, and Gavin putting in his hair cream.
Dude, Gavin hair cream is begging for an animated GIF. Can you imagine the before and after? I don’t know how Jennifer handles it in the morning. Maybe he sleeps standing up.
