Dirty, Dirty Brownies
October 16, 2008
Dear god, the brownies were good. That’s brie, folks.
These guys were working their asses off:
I brought my own container, such was the quantity I bought:

Man, oh man. I was off the grid in Mexico last week, eating great street food most of the time, but I’m kinda sorry I missed the debut of those brownies. Thanks for documenting everything, and good call on bringing your own container.
Hooray, Allan’s back! A bit quiet on MM.
I am sure they will think of some other delicious debut soon enough.
It was a bit scary walking down Valencia with 5 of those paper containers stacked up the first week — I would have cried had I dropped them.
First, I thought Lael did a helluva job holding down the fort. Second, are you ever gonna try eating right there on the corner, proper street-food style? Third, see you there this week, 8ish?
Sorry — meant quiet as in you were obviously out and about. Lael did a fantastacular job, especially on throwback and soapbox.
I’d love to eat then and there but I have to run back home to feed my wife who’s feeding our 2 month old. Trust me, it was a challenge making it home without busting open the container. But I will look for you in line on Thursday — I’ve been letter E and letter F the past two weeks, getting there around 7:45 or so. Will wear the Burrito Justice shirt if it’s clean.
I read your post and wished I’d wriettn it
