Pi Bar Comes Alive

The sign is lit!

The Trippel was pretty damn good — Pi Bar got one keg, Toronado got there other. Never had the Blind Pig before, very enjoyable. (And note the elephant in the corner…)

It’s a glorious slice!

Pi Bar is a very welcome addition to La Lengua and a worthy successor to Suriya. Very casual, very comfortable. Excellent, simple, thin crust pizza, just the way the pizza gods intended. I look forward to many a happy hour there. (And they have coat hooks under the bar which is a sign of a superior establishment…)

Are you an investor in this place? Why the endless shilling?

    Dear pol:

My record on the sad state of slices in the city has been rather consistent, and Pi Bar is something worth getting excited about.

And why do you care about my opinion on a place serving good beer and good pizza that’s down the street from me?

Curious, your IP address is in the domain — Pleasanton? Palo Alto?

Anyway, go bug KevMo, he is the angle investor.

Thanks for the write-up! I’m really looking forward to eating at this place.

Let’s meet up for a slice and a beer sometime!

Actually, I live on Hampshire St. You’re quite the cyber-sleuth, aren’t you.

I care only to the extent that this blog used have some interesting content, and now it has gushy posts about pizzerias that haven’t even opened yet.

Nope, sorry pol, the Internet is never wrong — you have to move to Pleasanton. (Hmm, though it also says Texas and LA — at least you have a few options.)

Pizza slices + beer = not interesting? Really?? (Even when I have the best blog headline EVER, “Suriya Pi“?)

WOW. this really sucked ass. terrible service on top of straight up mediocre pizza. New York style? uh huh. enjoy your soggy crust covered in a ridiculous amount of flavorless cheese. Way to go Pi bar!

Oh my, you are right, please accept my apologies – I suspect this is more your style.
