This is the fanciest Negra Modelo I have ever had.

Want! Where is this?
Sadly all the way down in San Jose – Las Palmas on The Alameda (relatively near the Shark Tank). Great family-run place, kick-ass chile verde and chile colorado.
Probably the heaviest glass in which I have ever had beer. Very satisfying.
That’s a good one, but go to a sufficiently south-of-the-border bar or restaurant and try a cerveza Michelada. That is as fancy as beer can get.
You should be able to get this most places — ask for it “escarchada.” (If you want a margarita sans, the phrase would be “sin escarchar.”) Also, “micheladas” should be widely available — say, for example, “una michelada de negra modelo escarchada.” This will include lime juice, worchestershire sauce, a dash of chile, and salt on the rim.
