The site owners are no doubt pieces of shit. Not because they couldn’t afford to finish the job (and the flapping plastic is indeed ugly), but because they forced out the family that was living in the home that was eventually torn down to make way for this aborted get-rich scheme.

Having moved here 5 years ago from 26th and Valencia, it’s funny what passes for “blight” among my neighbors now.

My guess is that the builder ran out of money, as well. The neighbors in the immediate area are not happy, and with good reason. The portatoilet has been set up there forever, and it smells gross when I walk past with my dogs. Unfortunately, this building is a testament to the failed side of the housing market in Noe. One does turn up on occasion.
